event: exrosythian gep'02 reunion

people who attended:(let's see if i still rmbr their names) jane, christal, adeline, mildred, edlyn, jordan, jiefu, sherwin, aaronchee, guocong, wenjun, weizhi, bingwen and myself.

well firstly must thank the organiser, sherwin, for organising this gathering and being the story teller for the whole day. you know, it's been six long years since we all last met, so initially it's kinda awkward to talk freely (yeah i was quite quiet then), so it's hard on sherwin who's been trying to hypen up the atmosphere. HAHA. he's really ambitious, he expected like at least 20 ppl would turn up, and we were telling him, considering the fact that there was more than 10 ppl who turned up, it's already not bad. :D

so it was gathering at jane's house. supposed to reach there at 1pm, but thinking that everyone would be late (indeed), met up with adeline first at 1pm haha. and amazingly despite not seeing her for six years, i still could recognise her. nice catching up with her on the bus. walked thru many roads and finally reached jane's house, which was really at this ulu spot. there were only 4 people there: jane, christal, jordan and jiefu (adeline and i actually forgot his name, haha this is what not meeting up for 6 years has done to us). there were periods of awkward silence, so we decided to play card games like taidee, asshole taidee, and the 'never-ending' game taught by jane which i thought was quite fun, but boring when it's never ending haha. so more ppl came at different intervals.

sherwin was real funny. he thought there would be loads of food provided, so he didnt have lunch. in the end, he just kept eating those packets of chips and cookies we brought. he entertained us with his ns, CHEESE AND HAM (oh man, now i go cold storage i will rmbr sherwin's cheese and ham stories HAHA), and his australia life. sherwin and i 'self-isolated' ourselves at one corner, cuz everyone else were from rj and hwachong HAHA. eventually the atmosphere wasnt that tensed up, everyone started gossipping about random things like our primary 5 gep camp, pri sch teachers etc, and aaronchee actually received a letter from oxford, wow.

after that went to orchard to support salima's arcapella group at marriot. saw this person whom i thought looks familiar, and we both smiled at each other. but at that point of time, we just couldnt rmbr where we met each other. in the end salima cleared our doubts, we met each other thru mr cheong's tuition class. HAHA what a small world. took a group photo, but it's with salima. went to hunt for an eating place for 13 ppl (mildred didnt join us), and finally settled at yoshinoya even though all of us were separated, which serving pace was DAMN fast. at that time, sherwin was telling me that the first pg of his pri 6 autograph bk was written by me, HAHAHA. i thought that was funny cuz he actually rmbred lol. went off after that to watch raffles chorale, plus to 'support' 3 of our pri school friends there (isaactan, geraldkoh and kialiang). after that went to kino cuz wenjun wanted to buy massage books (LOL!). it was getting late, but wenjun insisted to have his dessert at somewhere else (rich kid la him), so christal, aaronchee and myself left, while the rest, i supposed, went for dessert.

well it was really great catching up with my primary school friends, though sherwin and i may feel inferior cuz they're all from elite schools like rj and hwachong. cant wait for the next gathering, i supposed that will be like 2 yrs later, after the guys finished their ns, so that we can have a proper full gathering with everyone present. :D

went out with wanyuan and siying (the extra HAHA) to hunt for elfster's christmas presents, and to accompany wanyuan to see her keyboard. bought myself a twilight mini calender that costs $1, just to satisfy my own cheap thrills, LOL. and of course, bought present for the person elfster chose for me (dont tell you who and what i bought). after that, we walked like practically the whole suntec, citylink, marina square (okay exaggerating, but somewhere there), just to find a place to eat. our initial plan was to eat sakae buffet, but the person told us it was public holiday eve, so no buffet (wth!). tried yukiyaki but we only had 1 hr left to eat, and dinner price would be ex. other buffets were way above our budget, so we settled on pizzahut, tsktsk. gossipped like free at pizzahut, before heading to one of the ice cream shop at citylink to eat our rocky road classics! nice(: okay that's all that happened, i shall let pictures do the talking(:
